How to set up affiliate future links?
Posted in: Affiliate Marketing,AffiliateFuture,Make Money Online
Affiliate future has similar affiliate links as most of the other affiliate networks, but have a few differences.
An example link from affiliatefuture looks like this:
http://scripts.affiliatefuture.com/AFClick.asp?affiliateID=abc
&merchantID=def&programmeID=ghi&mediaID=j&tracking=k&url=l
You should have fiqured out what the affiliateID, merchantID and programID stands for in the link.
The mediaID chooses the publisher banner and displays that in your site. The publisher might have added 10 banners for you to choose from and this mediaID will publish the one which you have selected.
You can play around with the other parameters to collect more information from each of your different campaigns.
tracking= is an important feature which helps you identify which links are performing better.
For example, I add a publisher banner in the top of the site and one in the side column of the site. I would add tracking=top for the top banner and tracking=side for the side banner.
When you check your reports, the reports will have these details “top” and “side” for every activity generated from these banners by your visitors. With that information you can discover which banners, pages etc are performing better and modify your campaign accordingly for best conversion rates.
url= You can use this part of the link to directly link to the deep feed of the affiliate partner site. example. If you want to promote an ipod nano 2 gb green, you can make the visitor land in that page of the partner which sells ipod nano 2gb green, so the visitor has no need to browse through the partner site to find his ipod nano 2gb green after exiting your site by clicking on the affiliate link. He would land on that page in the partner site which will have that and hence increase conversion rates.
